Gogglebox fans stunned by Jenny’s incredible royal baby prediction

The name of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby took nearly everyone by surprise – but not a Gogglebox favourite.

Jenny Newby, who appears on the show in her caravan near Hull with best pal Lee Riley, made a stunning prediction in last night's episode.

Spookily, while watching the news of Meghan and Harry's new baby son, she guessed correctly at the royal baby name, leaving Lee sceptical.

"I think they might call him Archie," Jenny said. "I think Archie would suit him lovely."

And viewers were blown away by her bold call which was filmed before the official news of the name was broken.

Gogglebox's creator took to Twitter to confirm that she had indeed made the stunning guess before the news was revealed.

Tania Alexander wrote: "I would like to confirm that our Jenny did genuinely guess the name Archie before it was announced."

Viewers were left astounded.

One said: "Well done Jenny for guess the baby's name … and take no notice of Lee, I was the same. Just so happy that Harry has his little family."

Meanwhile another dubbed her "Mystic Jenny".

But with her stunning guess aside, there was more to come from her as news of the royal birth hit her hard.

"This is the news you've been wanting Jenny," Lee said. "I wonder if they wanted a boy?"

He begged Jenny not to start crying but his words fell on deaf ears after he said "Diana would've been proud of Harry".

She replied: "Don't say that" before bawling her eyes out in front of the nation.

Gogglebox is on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel Four.
