Hit and Run starring Israeli actor Lior Raz arrived on Netflix yesterday, Friday, August 6, and already has caused quite a stir among subscribers. The hard-hitting show is about Segev Azulai (played by Lior Raz) whose American wife is killed in a hit and run but he doesn’t believe it is an accident. This leads to the tour guide travelling to the States to find out the truth for himself.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Hit and Run.

Segev has a murky past which he put behind him when he met the love of his life Danielle (Kaelen Ohm).

But in the first of the 10 episodes, she is killed in a hit and run which Segev is convinced was no accident.

So Segev leaves his daughter behind to track down why it really happened, venturing to America for answers.

But upon his arrival in New York City, he soon discovers disturbing truths about what went on and why.

Will there be another series of Hit and Run?

As of writing this article, Hit and Run hasn’t been renewed for a season two.

So for now at least, there is just one series of Hit and Run on Netflix.

However, the action-drama hasn’t been labelled as a limited series which means there could be more seasons on the way.

The fact it is still very early days does also explain why there is no news yet on a series two.

Hit and Run season one was released in full on Netflix yesterday, August 6.

Typically, the streaming service takes viewing figures and fans’ reactions into account before deciding on whether or not to renew a show.

This means there is still time for the drama to be given a second series.

Another reason which points to there being a potential season two on the way is the ending.

There were still storylines that weren’t wrapped up by the series one finale.

Segev had discovered his wife was a CIA agent who had found out crucial information from an Israeli intelligence agent that she was having an affair with so she could get further access to such details.

This in turn led to her death as her identity had been discovered by the people she was investigating.

In the season finale, things got even worse for Segev when he got an upsetting phone call.

He was told that not only had his ex-wife been killed, but his daughter had also gone missing.

With some loose ends after series one, it does seem likely that Hit and Run will return.

Hit and Run is available to watch on Netflix.
