Hollyoaks star teases no one is safe as explosion leaves villagers for dead

Hollyoaks star Bethannie Hare has teased that no one is safe after an explosion blows up Salon De Thé in upcoming scenes.

The Cher McQueen actress has let slip that fans should be worried for their favourite characters as not all villagers involved in the huge stunt will make it through the week alive.

Chilling flashback sequences have previewed turmoil to come, with a few clues who is in danger.

Cher, Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan), Jack Osborne (Jimmy McKenna), Mercedes and Cleo McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe, Nadine Mulkerrin) are among those whose lives are in danger from the blast, as well as Toby and Celeste Faroe (Bobby Gordon and Andrea Ali).

Teasing the fatal blaze, actress Bethanie told Daily Star: "Fans can expect a lot of twists and turns.

"People may think it's going one way and the plot will completely change.

"Obviously it's sad because there's characters lives at risk. Some characters will unfortunately not survive.

"There's going to be a lot of change and the whole village will have to get used to that change."

The first fatality of the epic stunt week was revealed during Friday night's first-look episode on E4.

Evil Maya (Ky Discala) met a grisly end at the hands of her lover Ethan Williams (Matthew James-Bailey) in a case of an accidentally gunshot wound.

Ethan sobbed by her body, heartbroken to have lost his lover but he had little time to mourn as a loud bang was heard moments later.

The sound Ethan heard was the patisserie going up in smoke.

It was previously hinted that Becky Quentin (Katie McGlynn) was to blame for the blaze but the latest episode hinted that Maya had followed through on her threat and planted an explosive device in a bid to teach Ethan a lesson.

In a shocking hour-long episode set to air Tuesday on E4, an explosion rips through Salon De The, putting many lives at risk.

Amongst the chaos, Toby has a big announcement and his close bond with sister Celeste shines through.
