Clive Owen is a hill shepherd along with his wife Amanda, and they both live and work at the Ravenseat Farm. On the Channel 5 series, the couple continue to raise their nine children and they all get stuck in with the day-to-day duties. Fans are keen to know how old Clive is and Express.co.uk has all you need to know.
How old is Clive Owen from Our Yorkshire Farm?
Our Yorkshire Farm is a much-loved series documenting the Owen family’s life on their remote Yorkshire Dales farm.
The series is now in its fourth season and viewers have been enjoying the sense of escapism it brings.
They love watching the couple get their children involved in farming activities.
Clive is 66 years old and he is believed to have been born around 1954. He is 21 years older than his wife Amanda.
Amanda met Clive when she was just 21, in 1996, and they came across each other on Clive’s farm.
Clive would have been 42 when they met, and they fell in love despite the difference in age.
Their eldest child, Raven, is now studying at university and in the latest series, 16-year-old Reuben left school.
The couple’s other children include Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmy and Nancy.
Sidney, who is nine, was tasked with training an adorable sheepdog puppy in the latest season.
Clive first came to Ravenseat in the late 1980s and he loved farming with his friends as a child.
He used to run a solo venture at a farm in Stainmore, before moving to the heart of Swaledale.
Clive was keen to be associated with some of the most highly-esteemed breeders in the area.
Less than 10 years later he would be joined by Amanda, who was born in Huddersfield.
She too had known she wanted to work on a farm since she was a child, and worked as a contract shepherd.
Amanda had visited Clive’s farm so she could borrow a male sheep and they were instantly attracted to each other.
