I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has already cascaded into chaos as extreme storms and blazing heat have swept over Australia.
Celebs Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson and Nella Rose baked in 40-degree heat during the first trial which took place in the desert outback of Alice Springs. But 2,000 miles away, the jungle camp was hit with thunderstorms and rain as a huge 869-mile stretch of land across the east coast was hit by lightning storms overnight.
An insider told The Sun: "The changing weather across the dual centres has the team in overdrive – one minute the celebs are boiled and the next they’re soaking wet. This is the most extreme weather in years and it’s making logistics a nightmare."

The source then added that things have consistently changed due to the weather. They added: "Plans keep changing with each hour that passes as they tick down to launch."
Nigel, Josie and Nella were the first three stars to be tested by the extreme weather as temperatures skyrocketed during their first Aussie outback trial. They were later cooled down with specialist towels after being pushed to their limits while filming.
According to reports, the mercury topped 40 degrees centigrade at Alice Springs. This is 15 degrees above the average for November and almost 0.9 degrees off the hottest day of the entire year.
The source added that the filming crew was forced to swing into action to adapt to the "sweltering" temperatures. The production crew also "mobilised umbrellas to offer the whole team shade when the cameras weren’t rolling".
The extreme heatwave also means that seasonal storms have ramped up across the region of Queensland where filming at the original I'm A Celeb site takes place. To add to the complexity of things, this week, ITV were told how the increase of rain in recent days had led to an influx of venomous snakes and leeches in camp.
And with more bad weather yet to come, this year's celebs are in for a bumpy ride. This week, night storms rolled into the east side of the country – with forecasts that almost 900 miles of land would be battered by terrible weather conditions.
The drastic storms have come just in time for the filming of the infamous Walk The Plank trial which sees the celebs suspended 100 metres into the air. Sources already said the show’s crew have not taken any risks and have amped up their safety measures.
