BEN Price has had lots of drama in the romance department as Nick Tilsley on Coronation Street.
From his on-off love Leanne Battersby to failed romances with Carla Connor and cougar Erica Holroyd, Nick has been through the mill relationship-wise.
But in real life, Ben, 49, has been happily married to wife Alexandra Wheeler since 2005, having reportedly met while working together in a play called On The Razzle.
The couple have two children together, Maximillian Price and Paloma Price, however Ben keeps his family life closely under wraps and his children out of the limelight.
Before taking on the role of Nick in 2009, Ben was best known to people for his role as hunky footballer Conrad Gates in Footballers' Wives.
He also starred in Casualty from 2005-2007 as corporate director Nathan Spencer before making the move to Weatherfield.
In 2017, Ben left Coronation Street to spend more time with his family, before returning a year later.
When he returned to Corrie, he revealed his hours had been changed so he could be with his family more.
He said: "I now have a different way of working. I get a longer weekend – they make sure I can get home on a Friday.
"They crush my work into busy days rather than it elongating over time. And they are aware that I have to find that balance now.

"It's a really different working week and I couldn't be happier to be back."
Ben also has a podcast which he runs with his co-stars Jack P Shepherd and Colson Smith, the Sofa Cinema Club.
During one episode, Ben recalled a terrifying ordeal with an angry goose, which left his co-stars in hysterics.
He said: "There I am running through Trafford and there's a goose with its chicks on the towpath.
"It pinned me against the wall"
"So I turn and I'm right opposite it running and it goes: 'Hiss.' The full hiss. And it's big. One of those big f***ers.
"So it took off at me, pinned me against the wall, full flap. And I'm like, 'Argh!'
"I was thinking, 'I'm not going anywhere near your babies, your chicks, I'm just running through.'"
He continued:"I tell you what, I ran. And I was a bit panicked. But of course, there's like another 10.
"So I can't go back, I'm going forward and every time I go past one I'm like talking to them, saying: 'No dramas, nothing here. I'm just going for a run. Please.'"
Coronation Street airs on ITV and is available on ITV Hub.
