James Martin joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning earlier in the week as he rustled up a sausage supper and a chocolate orange bun. However, after serving the ITV hosts lunch, James was walked away from the studio kitchen when Holly took a light-heartedly swipe at the chef’s culinary skills.
James prepared the sweet treat first before sharing his recipe for posh sausage and beans.
Philip questioned whether the sausage portion was too large for one person but the chef explained he was continuing his theme of big portions after the huge chocolate buns he’d prepared.
“We’ve had dessert first again,” Phillip remarked and James said: “That wasn’t my choice.”
The chef continued preparing the dish while the This Morning presenters tucked into the sausage supper.

James finished the dish with a portion of butter leading to Holly and Phillip teasing the chef about his love for the dairy product.
“John Williams at The Ritz,” James said. “He uses more butter than me. A lot more butter than me.”
“What’s the best butter you’ve ever tasted?” Holly asked and he replied: “I’ll introduce you to this amazing, in fact, why don’t we do it next week if I’m allowed back again?”
“I’ll bring the best cream you’ve ever tasted, I know you don’t like cream,” he said to Holly. “You’re completely barmy.
