Law and Order Organized Crime season 2 release time

Law and Order Organized Crime is the latest spin-off to come from the epic Law and Order franchise on NBC. What really makes it one to watch is the return of Elliot Stabler (played by Christopher Meloni) who had been away from the Law and Order universe since leaving SVU (Special Victims Unit) a decade ago. Now, he is back and leading a new team, working on a different remit of criminal activity.

SVU focused on getting justice for victims of various horrendous crimes.

Organized Crime, however, is more about the culprits behind those tarnishing New York City as a whole.

Stabler and his team are responsible for carrying out missions to dispose of gang violence and the mafia who continue to cause problems for everyone in the Big Apple.

Co-creator Dick Wolf stated that the first third of Organized Crime will have a similar feel to the 1970s movie The Godfather.

What time will Law and Order Organized Crime season 2 be out?

Organized Crime season two will premiere tomorrow, Thursday, September 23, on NBC.

The second series is going to air straight after the start of Law and Order SVU season 23.

The show which stars Stabler’s original partner Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) will kick off with a two-hour special.

But when Organized Crime starts depends on where you are in America.

The States is split into various time zones so while a show may be on at the exact same moment, the time will differ.

Season two of Organized Crime has been slated to start at 10/9C.

This means the show is going to begin at 10pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) and 9pm CST (Central Standard Time).

Future episodes will also be shown at these times every Thursday on NBC.

Sadly, UK fans of the new spin-off are going to have to wait for season two to air.

Season one of Organized Crime was shown on Sky Witness on July 30 earlier this year, around three months after it began in America.

Sky Witness hasn’t revealed if and when series two is going to be released in the UK.

However, if the previous release date is anything to go by, Sky Witness could get its hands on Organized Crime’s latest season sometime in December.

The premiere episode of season two is called The Man with No Identity.

The synopsis reads: “After taking down Wheatley’s drug empire and discovering his wife’s killer, Stabler must infiltrate a notorious crime family aiming to take over New York City’s cocaine trade.

“Bell is forced to work with a rival colleague when their investigations collide.”

Law and Order Organized Crime season 2 will start on Thursday, September 23, at 10pm EST and 9pm CST on NBC in America.
