Lorraine Kelly has admitted that she always forgets the names of the guests on her ITV daytime show – so she calls them "flower".

The Scottish TV presenter has hosted tons of TV shows over the years – including Good Morning Britain, GMTV, This Morning and her own chat show Lorraine.

During that time, national treasure Lorraine has interviewed tons of people – so she'd be forgiven for not being able to remember everybody that she's met.

The 62-year-old confessed that she struggles to remember the names of her guests – so she has to give them nicknames in order to save herself from on-air embarrassment.

She revealed her presenting problem to comedian Jimmy Carr on his new Channel 4 game show – I Literally Just Told You.

On Thursday's episode (December 30), Lorraine joined fellow celebrities Aisling Bea, Alex Horne, Asim Chaudhry in a bid to win £25k for their chosen charities.

Host Jimmy asked Lorraine: "How's your memory?"

Lorraine replied: "It's not wonderful."

Jimmy went on: "You must have, as Aisling mentioned, forgotten people that you've interviewed."

Lorraine explained: "I've basically gotten to the stage now, I just call everybody 'flower' because I'm hopeless at people's names.

"I do forget people's names so yeah, that's what I do."

She proceeded to list some other names that she employs in her time of need.

Kelly went on: "Flower, or petal, or love, or gorgeous, or angel…."

She revealed that her most difficult guest was Harrison Ford as he was "grumpy".

She told Star magazine: "Harrison Ford. I felt disappointed because I loved Blade Runner and was really looking forward to meeting him.

"It wasn’t so much that he was rude, but he was a bit grumpy. I think he was bored and made it very clear that he did not want to be there."
