Lorraine Kelly embarked on a fiery rant during today's Good Morning Britain as she raged about the government's "woolliness" about Christmas after lockdown.
The 60-year-old ITV host didn't hold back as she furiously ranted to Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid after they interviewed Defence Secretary Ben Wallace on Thursday's show.
Wallace revealed he "didn't want to be the grinch that stole Christmas", but "more than anything I want to get us through Covid… and protect lives".
Ben said to Lorraine that it seemed he was "cautiously suggesting" that going ahead with Christmas as normal isn't the right thing to do.
Lorraine raged: "Can I just say, cautiously? No.
"I am getting so frustrated with this, and I know how important Xmas is, I appreciate that."
"But can we stop this woolliness and trying to be nice, and wanting to be loved and liked, they're leaders, they're in charge, say what is right for the country and what is going to save lives", she exclaimed angrily.
The Scottish television presenter continued: "Stop waffling about and just say it as it is, that's it, it's gone, sorry, you're going to be with less people this year, sorry it's hard but that means that in the new year we will get over this quicker.
"Sorry it drives me crazy, I can't be dealing with all this woolliness.
"Stop wanting to be liked and stick to your plan."
