"I don't think personally I'll be partaking in sexual activity, but I don't have a problem with it at all, just personally I wouldn't," he explained.

Ikenna revealed the reason behind his decision, saying he's in the villa to find love and wants to make sure he finds "the right girl."

The 23-year-old said: "I don't think there's any particular reason to be honest. I just want to make sure I find the right girl for me, I'm in there to find love so I want to make sure I find the right one."

Quizzed on whether he is willing to potentially break up another couple to go after what he wants, Ikenna implied he would have no problem with it.

"Let's just say, I'm not going to be asking permission to speak with someone, I think that's a bit weird," he explained.

Ikenna, who recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences, revealed he didn't actually sign up for Love Island, but was instead approached while in London.

"I didn't actually sign up, I was approached," he explained.

He continued: "The one time I was in London, the first time in 6 months and it was my friends birthday. We were in Boxpark Shoreditch and I was approached by a caster."

The star opened up about where his position in the pharmaceutical sales industry lies now that he has chosen to go on Love Island.

"My old job were quite supportive of me. They've left the door open for me so just going to see what the future has in store for me."
