Made In Chelsea's Tom Zanetti & Sophie Hermann's 'electric romance' proves 'opposites attract' says new girl Paris Smith

MADE In Chelsea's Paris Smith has had her say on Tom Zanetti and Sophie Hermann's "electric" relationship – telling The Sun it's proof that "opposites attract".

The 22-year-old model joined the E4 reality show last year, with fellow newbie Tom signing up for this series after striking up a relationship with cast member Sophie on Celeb's Go Dating.

The Northern DJ could have had his work cut out for him to win over the posh stars of the show, but Paris insisted his "abundance of confidence" saw that he fitted in straight away.

The beauty is good friends with 34-year-old Sophie, and said that she believes 31-year-old Tom is a great match for her, despite how it might look on paper.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Paris shared: "They seem really well suited, I think it's interesting to see that opposites really do attract.

"Zanetti is hilarious, he's obviously got a good career and that's appealing for Sophie – regardless of whether it's DJ-ing, I don't think she saw herself with a DJ!

"They're electric together and I think it's fun to watch."

Discussing how Tom settled in with the rest of the cast, the star continued: "We're not really that much of a judgemental group of people.

"As long as you have confidence, which he clearly had an abundance of, then you will get along just fine.

"He came in confident, kind, nice to everyone, spoke to everybody, made an effort with everybody – and everybody liked him back.

"I don't think there's really much of the barrier that people would have thought between us all – besides an accent!"

Earlier this month, Tom bonded with his Made In Chelsea co-stars as he admitted that he wants marriage and kids with Sophie following their whirlwind romance.

The current series of Made In Chelsea saw the cast relocate to a luxury resort in the Suffolk countryside so that they could film the series in a Covid-secure bubble.

Just like the previous series, the cast followed strict health and safety protocols while filming, with all cast members at the country house testing negative before entering, and socially distanced from anybody not in the bubble throughout.

Paris told us that living with the cast 24/7 made for "intense" filming – and gave her a deeper understanding of her friends' romantic relationships.

She shared: "You always learn a lot when you live with people.

"It was interesting to see the dynamic between other people's relationships – being in a house with everyone, you can hear the arguments. It helps you make your mind up on people."
