Molly-Mae Hague backed by fans as she thwarts cruel mum-shamers by admitting to making Bambi clothing mistake | The Sun

MOLLY-MAE Hague has been backed by fans after admitting to making a clothing mistake with her baby daughter Bambi.

The mum-of-one took the eight-month-old out yesterday and posed for cute pictures in a coffee shop.

In a bid to ward off any cruel mum-shaming comments that might come her way, Molly-Mae made it clear that Bambi's absent socks were accidental.

She wrote on Instagram: "Can’t wait for my favourite season with you baby girl…. maybe I did forget to put socks on her today [upside down smiling emoji] (also this hot choc went flying 10 seconds later and destroyed my Uggs x)."

Fans reassured her that it was totally fine and lots of young children prefer to be barefoot anyway.

One person commented: "The fact she has to justify Bambi not having socks on is sad, as she knows the trolls will come out with all the “her feet will be freezing” blah blah blah! Gorgeous mamma and babba xx.

The new mum welcomed her first child into the world in January and recently returned from a work trip to New York.

The 24-year-old star feared she would make her daughter Bambi sick after catching a nasty bug on the plane home and said taking care of her daughter while sick was "a shock to the system".

"I've been back from New York for four or five days now and guys I have been so unwell. You might be able to hear it in my voice," she said in her latest YouTube Vlog.

"I'm starting to get better now. It was a real shock to the system, I was plummeted straight back into solo parenting completely jet lagged and I came back with a really bad flu."

Molly continued: "This is not me complaining because I was literally so excited to get back to Bambi. I was so excited to spend time with her one-on-one. That's all I wanted.

"But I was so upset that I was so unwell because I knew that I was going to come back from New York, make her poorly, and really struggle with solo parenting."
