Daniela Ruah, best known for her role as Special Agent Kensi Blye in NCIS LA, shared a video tribute to her co-star LL Cool J on her Instagram page as he was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. LL has starred as Sam Hanna in recent years but before pursuing an acting career won multiple awards for his music. Now, he has reached a professional milestone, his colleagues have been sharing sweet messages, commending him on his success.

Sharing a video of NCIS LA stars speaking about the actor, Daniela told her 1,1million Instagram followers how much he means to her.

She wrote: “Father, husband, friend, colleague, musician, actor, artist, philanthropic visionary, trend setter, culture marking, inspirational, the GOAT!

“I have so much love, respect and gratitude for you.

“Congrats on the induction to the ROCK N’ ROLL HALL OF FAME @llcoolj from the bottom of our hearts.”

In the video, Daniela said of LL: “The world as LL Cool JJ but we get to call you Todd, or Uncle Toddy.”

She added: “The world gets to see the fruits of your labour, we get to see the grind.”

Her co-star, Eric Christian Olsen, who plays Detective Marty Deeks, also sent a message in the video clip.

Eric recalled: “Who else has been the GOAT for not just ten years but for four decades.

“One of my favourite stories, my buddy is in the elevator, starts singing LL his own song.

“In that moment, what does LL do? He starts rapping with him.

“Just the two of them and it made that kid’s dream. No one was watching and that’s just a window into who he is as a human being.”

Daniela wasn’t the first to send a sweet message to LL as Caleb Castille also penned a tribute earlier in the month.

Taking to his Instagram page, Caleb wrote: “Listen man, Mama said knock you out was not a suggestion !!

“BIG Congrats to a living LEGEND on being inducted into the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME tonight!

“I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to stand next to you and soak up years of wisdom/knowledge Todd.

“Thanks for always being a man of your word and a leader!”

While the cast have been celebrating LL’s accomplishments, fans of NCIS LA have branded the series “uncool” for taking another break from TV screens.

The series will not be airing episode seven until early 2022, which has angered viewers with KamenzieStarr tweeting: “No more new episodes of LA for the rest of the year? Uncool, CBS. Uncool.”

MollyK1996 announced: “No new episode until January 2 holiday break.”

SaveMcgyver21 also penned on Twitter: “What nooooooo that was the last one now we gotta wait till Jan 2nd oh my god.”

NCIS Los Angeles returns to CBS on December 2, 2022.
