STRICTLY star Nicola Adams has slammed the show's famous curse, saying it "isn't a big deal."
The 37-year-old Olympian – who has been with her girlfriend Ella Baig for two years – also said any couples affected by it "weren't happy in the first place".
But the boxing hero doesn't think that being on the show will affect her relationship.
In the past many celebrities have fallen to the curse, including Nicola's dance partner Katya Jones, who split from her husband Neil Jones after appearing on the show.
Let's also not forget Katya's famous kissing scandal with her celeb partner, Seann Walsh.
But Nicola told Grazia magazine that the curse doesn't actually exist.
"It's not a big deal. It's not even a curse. You're either happy with your partner or you're not!" she insisted.
Speaking about her dance partner Katya, she said: "She's so creative and really good at choreography. She's unbelievable."
Nicola previously told The Sun that she that Katya was "smoking hot" but echoed her sentiments that she and Ella "are so strong we will never be a victim of the Strictly Curse".
Ella also added: 'I’m not worried about the curse. Nicki and me are best friends so I don’t really see anyone as competition and she doesn’t either.
'The grass is never greener on the other side and me and Nicki have a lot of history together, so I don’t think anyone is going to steal her off me.
'We did have a conversation about the curse and we agreed I would meet her dance partner so there are no hard feelings or jealousy there.'
Over the years, Strictly has become almost as famous for the breakdown of some of its participants' relationships
The "curse" is a phenomenon that hits celebrities and their dance partners during their time on the show.
Due to the harsh schedules, sexy dance moves and close quarters with their partners, their off-screen romances sometimes suffer as a result.
Strictly became regarded as "cursed" after a series of very public break-ups from show participants – and ever since, more and more fan favourites have succumbed.
Over the course of 17 series of the BBC favourite, nearly a dozen couples have split up thanks to their time on the show.
