Peter Andre reacts to Im A Celebrity star Jill Scott professing her love for him

Peter Andre has been left impressed by I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Jill Scott's efforts to rap his hit song Mysterious Girl.

The campmates have already found some creative ways to pass the time with both England football champion, Jill, and former rugby player turned royal Mike Tindall using the opportunity to show off their rapping skills.

Jill, 35, rapped her way through a few verses of Pete's 1996 hit, and it was certainly enough to impress the singer himself.

Appearing on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain, Peter joked: "She's a a slightly better rapper than me."

He continued: "Do you know that took me by surprise last night? I was falling asleep and I heard my name and I thought 'what does my wife want know?'

"And I was looking around and yeah it was a really pleasant surprise, she's Jill] lovely."

Later, talking on Lorraine, Peter discussed joked that Jill's rendition "was close enough" adding: "Let me tell you, I don’t even know the words in the middle."

However, he did correct one of Jill's lyrics, as she said 'Elizabeth Hurley' when it should have been 'Elizabeth Taylor'.

"It is Elizabeth Taylor perfume, but I’m sure Elizabeth Hurley had nice perfume too" he said, adding: "How nice of her to do that, I love her. She’s a hero."

Following Jill's rendition of Mysterious Girl, Royal Mike launched into Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby, and much to the surprise of his campmates, and viewers at home, he didn't miss a single lyric or beat.

He further shocked his co-stars when he announced he knew all the words to Will Smith's Boom! Shake The Room and with a little encouragement, he rapped the hit as everyone joined in for the chorus.

The I'm A Celeb camp is set for a shake-up soon as former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, and comedian Seann Walsh's arrivals in the jungle will air on Wednesday night.

The news of the pair’s bombshell arrival will be announced by I’m A Celeb hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly was announced in Tuesday's episode.

A TV insider told The Mirror: “Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh are heading into the jungle in the coming hours and there is huge anticipation, particularly for Hancock's arrival.

"The show is doing brilliantly in the ratings already but his introduction will only increase the levels of interest. And how the other contestants react to Hancock will be fascinating. Whatever you think of his decision to go on the show, it will be must watch TV."
