PIERS Morgan showed off his huge back garden and swimming pool as he made the most of the heat wave yesterday.
The 56-year-old posted a video of his sprawling grounds in Newick, East Sussex, while Lou Reed’s classic tune Perfect Day played in the background.
The former GMB presenter has homes in London and Los Angeles as well, but has been enjoying the Sussex pad with wife Celia and daughter Elise in the glorious weather.
His countryside bolthole boasts ivy climbing up the walls and over the doors, plus a large gravel driveway for his car collection.
The dining room features rather traditional decor of oak furniture and pine tables, which is contrasted with the lounge areas which shows his cream sofas, floral cushions and blankets.
The sprawling estate is perfect for summer parties with lots of outdoor furniture including a wooden dining area and rattan sofas.
And of course the impressive size pool is ideal for the current heatwave.
The affluent East Sussex area sees most four and five bedroom detached homes go for £700,000 to £1.4 million.
Piers has currently got a bit more free time on his hands after quitting Good Morning Britain earlier this year in a row over his comments about Meghan.
The star recently admitted ITV bosses had been back in touch about a potential return, saying: “They reached out — there have been approaches. Never say never.”
He continued: “I have no doubt I could take the ratings back to where I left them — but the doubt is, would anyone be allowed to do it that way again?
“I was hired to give very strong, honestly held opinions, which I did. But in the end I was asked to apologise for a genuinely held opinion.”
Piers’s view was that Meghan repeatedly lied during a bombshell TV interview with Oprah Winfrey and badly besmirched the Royal Family.
