Tommy Egan (played by Joseph Sikora) and James ‘Ghost’ St Patrick (Omari Hardwick) had one of the most tumultuous yet gripping friendships throughout Power’s six-season run on Starz. As fans know by now, despite their differences, the two managed to put all their conflict to one side as Tommy desperately tried to save his righthand man’s life in the action-packed finale.
However, as far as fans know, Ghost died in Power’s explosive final episode, succumbing to a gunshot inflicted by his son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr).
And the first in a long line of spin-offs, Power Book 2: Ghost, has kept this story going, with Ghost out of the picture during his son’s time at college.
Nevertheless, theories continue to be bandied among the Power fandom who are desperate to see the show’s former leading man return from the dead in one of the show’s spin-offs.
So much so, when Sikora posted a snap of himself as Tommy alongside Rainey Jr’s Tariq on Instagram, fans seized the opportunity to put their theories directly to the star.

Outlining the theory of how Ghost could make a comeback, one fan commented: “Ghost coming back in a wheelchair paralyzed!”
After all, fans never actually saw Ghost’s body after the shooting in his nightclub, Truth.
And Sikora did little to dampen the theory, as he simply replied: “It’s possible [shhh emoji].”
Inevitably, it didn’t take long for some of Sikora’s 2.3 million Instagram followers to respond.
“Don’t play with my emotions like that,” one excited Power fan replied to the comment.
A second echoed: “Stop playing with our emotions!”
“Say less,” a third firmly put, while a fourth weighed in: “DON’T TEASE US LIKE THAT.”
And a fifth defiantly took Sikora’s reply as proof, as they added: “Ghost is alive. Gonna come walking in door.”

“HE DEFINITELY NOT DEAD,” a sixth of Sikora’s followers added to the discussion.
So could Sikora genuinely be teasing the return of Ghost or is he misleading fans with the Power star’s possible comeback?
Fans will have to wait until Power Book 4: Force to drop to know for sure but it is worth noting creator Courtney Kemp has stated numerous times Ghost is indeed dead.
Power Book 4 is currently filming in Chicago – the first Power series to be set outside of New York.
Earlier this week, Sikora also shared a first-look snap at the drama as production kicked off.
“POWER, Book IV. Get’n ready to get down,” he penned. “Make’n the rounds. Deep South. We out here!”
But what lies ahead for Tommy as he adapts to life outside of New York for the very first time?
