Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) is on a mission to assist former adversary Vanessa in Coronation Street, and such a thing ultimately gives her a new purpose.
Following Bernie’s (Jane Hazelgrove) actions, Gemma decides to meet up with Vanessa, before apologising for her mum’s behaviour.
After this meeting — which was seemingly a success — she returns home and announces to her family that she’s going to set up an online mother and baby group.
However, while Gemma’s no doubt chuffed at her new task, Bernie’s concerned that she’s taking on too much.
Later in the week, Gemma hosts her first mother and baby zoom chat — but will it go as well as she’s hoping?
That’s not the only task Gemma undertakes this week, as she sets out to help with Paul’s (Peter Ash) birthday celebrations.
Paul suggests that he’d like to do something for his 30th birthday, but Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) makes out he won’t be able to make it, and Gemma reveals that she can’t leave the quads on the night in question.
While upset at Gemma’s declination, Paul soon worries about his sister’s well-being, and informs Bernie and Cathy (Melanie Hill) that he’s concerned she’s suffering from postnatal depression again.
Bernie and Cathy later relay Paul’s concerns to Gemma, but she assures them that she’s fine and that the reason she’s been acting weirdly is in regards to the fact that she doesn’t want Paul to find out about the surprise party.
Will her plan go as planned?
