Max Branning (Jake Wood) is given cause for concern regarding the attack on Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) in EastEnders.
Viewers will know that — after antagonising just about everyone in Albert Square — Ian was left for dead in a devastating attack.
Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) was tasked with investigating such a crime, but with more suspects that one could possibly imagine, finding the assailant responsible is a proving to be a tough task.
However, the policeman gives Max an update in the coming episodes regarding new evidence from Ian’s case — and it’s safe to say that Max is left sweating.
Therefore, he is determined to start a new life with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), and thus makes her an offer.
The following week, he puts pressure on Linda as things start to become very real.
Is Max planning on fleeing?
Just what is this evidence that has come to light?
Max had more reasons than most to want Ian dead, that’s for sure, but — regardless of who carried out the actual crime — the net seems to be closing in on him.
If he is planning on absconding, will he get away before the police come calling?
One to watch: Tuesday December 22 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
