STEVE Irwin's pregnant daughter Bindi proudly recreated her parents' "special moment" as she prepares to give birth to her first baby.
The 22-year-old conservationist and husband Chandler Powell announced that they were expecting a baby back in August, with Bindi now well into her third trimester.
They have been documenting her pregnancy on social media, and melted fans' hearts with the most recent post.
In the first image, Bindi is dressed in a black T-shirt that is pulled up, with Chandler crouching down to kiss her bare bump.
The second snap showed Bindi's mother Terri when she was pregnant with 17-year-old Robert, holding the same pose.
This time, both Steve and a young Bindi are kissing the bare bump, with the mum-to-be captioning the post: "Recreating a very special moment. Third trimester love. ❤️"
Fans were blown away by the poignant photo, with one commenting: "Awwwww this is adorable! 💗💗💗💗"
Another added: "Don't make me cry over here😭😭😭"
A third echoed: "Be right back, I'm crying now ❤️❤️"
One more shared: "This is so very heartwarming."
Steve, who shot to fame as the host of The Crocodile Hunter, tragically passed away in 2006 at the age of 44 after he was struck by a stingray while filming in Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
Bindi previously revealed her moving tribute to her dad at her and Chandler's wedding at their family zoo last March, after her younger brother gave her away.
She wrote on Instagram: "Mum helped me get ready, Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad’s memory.
"We shared tears and smiles and love."
Bindi, Robert and Terri continue Steve's legacy through their conservation work at Australia Zoo, which was founded by Steve's parents Bob and Lyn in 1970.
