Greg favourite for first Strictly exit

GREG WISE has seen the largest number of bets placed on him being the first celebrity axed from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

The actor is currently rated as a 7/1 shot with the bookies to face elimination on Sunday evening, while it's Sara who finds herself as the 9/4 favourite to go first.

Ugo is also fancied at 5/2, with Tiktok star Tilly at 5/1.

Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes said: "Greg may not be the favourite with the bookies to leave first, but he certainly is with punters and the money suggests he could be the first to waltz out of Strictly."

    Strictly come back to mine

STRICTLY’S Tilly Ramsay enjoyed a cosy night in with pro partner Nikita Kuzmin after inviting him back to an apartment.

The grinning pair arrived in separate cars before TikTok star Tilly, 19, opened the door and Nikita, 23, dashed inside.

The pair’s rendezvous on Thursday followed a “doe-eyed” TV appearance that morning — with viewers claiming Tilly clearly had a crush on Nikita.

Tilly, the daughter of chef Gordon, and pro star Nikita, then trained all day at a West London studio. They arrived in separate cars outside an apartment block a mile from Tilly’s £5million South London family home.

They looked around for each other, then Tilly — whose name is short for Matilda — linked up with the dancer and they headed inside under cover of darkness.

A witness said: “Nikita was first and waited outside before Tilly arrived a few minutes later. They were grinning from ear-to-ear, chatting and laughing.

“They looked very comfortable in each other’s company, quite flirty. There is a clear physical chemistry. After strolling to the door they headed inside and stayed all evening.”

MSP Anas Sanwar would rather Apprentice than Strictly

Strictly bosses were told not to bother calling Anas Sarwar — but he does fancy a shot at being Lord Sugar’s Apprentice.

The MSP was filmed showing his moves to dance hit Uptown Funk during the Holyrood election campaign in May, left.

But he said he’d “definitely” not get the sequins on for the BBC dance show.

Mr Sarwar added: “If the Celebrity Apprentice is going I’d rather do that.”

    Strictly live show turmoil

STRICTLY bosses face a nightmarish dilemma over what to do if a competitor gets Covid after the quarter-final.

Currently, anyone testing positive must leave the BBC1 contest for a week.

But under those rules, it would mean any couple who made it through the quarters but then caught the virus would be automatically forced to miss the semi-finals.

And that leaves Strictly producers with the choice of either allowing them straight through to the final – or forcing them to quit.

A Strictly source said: “No matter what course of action they take, it is likely to be viewed as unfair.

“There could a lot of pressure to have extra contestants in the final which will create its own problems.

“There are contingency plans in place for many eventualities and the show is prepared to adapt.

    “But it’s a potential nightmare.”

    Who is Oti Mabuse?

Oti Mabuse is a 31-year-old professional dancer who rose to fame on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.

She was born in Pretoria, South Africa and unlike many of the Strictly family, Oti did not start her path to professional dancing from a young age.

Oti studied civil engineering at university before embarking on a career in professional dancing, following in the footsteps of her sister Motsi – nine years her senior – who is a professional ballroom dancer.

She joined the show in 2015 for its thirteenth series and was partnered with boxer Anthony Ogogo but unfortunately did not make it past week three.

Oti was then partnered with Hollyoaks hunk Danny Mac, and the duo were the show’s standout performers, topping the leaderboard seven times on their way to the finals.

    Stric-Tilly curse

TILLY Ramsay’s chemistry with dance partner Nikita Kuzmin has sparked talk the Strictly Curse is about to strike again.

The pair sizzled during their waltz on the first live show, with Nikita’s girlfriend, Nicole Wirt, gushing in her support.

But those messages disappeared and she has not posted any backing the duo since The Sun’s images the following day of 19-year-old Tilly — daughter of TV chef Gordon — letting Ukrainian Nikita, 23, into her flat at night.

Nicole had also posted a cryptic message online, saying: “Overthinking never lead me anywhere good…”

A TV insider said: “Tilly’s dad did warn her, ‘Don’t date any of those dancers’.

Tilly is Strictly’s first student contestant

Tilly was rumoured to be dating Gino D’Acampo’s son Luciano in late 2019 — after their dads bonded filming ITV’s Men Behaving Badly.

She is Strictly’s first student contestant and starts a psychology degree at a northern university.

She previously ruled out a show romance, claiming: “It’s not Love Island! I’m single and here to focus on dancing.

“Doing Strictly is the most exciting chapter of my life. I’m so grateful for this huge opportunity and Nikita’s been the best of the best as a teacher. He’s strict but we can have a laugh and have fun.”

Discussing her studies, she said: “I will stay in London to avoid the Covid risk of travel and to train in between lectures. A lot are online.”

They bring a youthful, fun energy to the set.

“Tilly is really close to her family and Nikita has met them, as well as throwing himself into TikTok dances which Tilly loves.

"They want to stay in the competition as long as possible so it’s important that they get on and have a close relationship.”

Robert Webb horrified after ‘flop’ movie showed his penis on screen

Strictly Come Dancing star Robert Webb was left horrified when he was shown in full-frontal scenes in the movie Confetti alongside co-star Olivia Colman.

The actors almost sued over their roles playing a nudist couple after they were shown fully naked despite claims they had been assured they would not be.

The stars – who both found fame on Peep Show – are seen in the buff multiple times throughout the 2006 mockumentary rom com.

In one eye-popping scene, Robert strips in front of squirming magazine editors while defending being a nudist, and in another the couple cycle naked on a tandem bicycle.

The script was entirely improvised and the makers hoped it would be a hit, but it turned out to be a huge flop.

And Oscar-winning actress Olivia said she was mortified when the flick was released and none of their private bits were pixelated.

Adam Peaty says he 'can't walk'

Olympic gold medallist Adam Peaty said he is suffering from "very, very, very sore feet" and had woken up thinking: " I don't think I can walk today, never mind dance."

He told ITV's Lorraine it was the pace of the dance that was to blame, saying: "This is why my feet hurt so much, because I've got to change directions so quickly and I'm always on my tiptoes.

"Literally 95kg going in my toes, so I can't walk, but we're nearly there."

Comparing training for Strictly to training for the Olympics, he said: "With the Olympics you get five years to prepare, if not 12, we've got a week to prepare, so it's very intense.

"You can't let yourself fall out of the mental zone because she (Jones) has a go at me and she shouts at me, so it's very very full on, you've got to turn up every single day, no matter how tired you are or or how much you got going on in your own life or business or whatever, you've still got to turn up."

The Olympic swimmer and his professional partner Katya Jones will perform a quickstep to Jet's Are You Going To Be My Girl on Saturday night.
