Strictly: Anton Du Beke says he’d ‘love’ to replace Bruno as judge
Joe, 34, is best known for keeping the nation motivated during the coronavirus pandemic, offering people of all ages the chance to get fit with his home workout programme. The Body Coach’s initiative has seen him awarded with an MBE by Her Majesty The Queen as well as announcing who was in the running for the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year Award 2020. However, reports are now suggesting the fitness guru is going to join this year’s cast of Strictly Come Dancing.
In the past, Joe has explained he has turned down the chance to appear on the show in light of him being a favourite to be a part of last year’s line-up.
A recent report has now stated he could be about to do a U-turn as a source has said: “Joe is popular with kids so appeals to a wide audience and is tempted to take part.
“He’s focussed hard on his career in the past, but would love to have some fun and put a smile on people’s faces.
“He’d be a huge hit with families,” the insider told The Sun, but it will be some months yet before the official line-up is released.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative of the show and for Mr Wicks with regards to comment on the reports.
During an interview on Loose Women in 2017, the Body Coach didn’t completely rule out the idea of ever taking part.
When asked if he he’d be approached to sign up, he told the panel: “How do you know about that?
“Who told you I was asked about that? I mean, I was asked [but] it’s not something I want to do right now.
“Who knows in the future,” he concluded.
He’d be a huge hit with families
Taking to Twitter, some fans of the show and the fitness guru have shared their pleas for Joe to join the line-up.
One viewer wrote: “@thebodycoach surely Joe Wicks will be on and win #strictly next year…@ClaudiaWinkle @ZoeTheBall @bbcstrictly.”
Another avid viewer of the programme posted: “Think I’d like to see @thebodycoach on this year’s #Strictly.”
Despite not being a contestant during the last season, the father-of-two has addressed his “bittersweet” life in lockdown.

The fitness guru and Body Coach star said: “It has been a bittersweet year. We have missed our friends and family.
“I have missed socialising and seeing people. I have really missed that connection – that is what has really impacted my mental health.
“But on a professional level, it has been my dream come true,” Joe told the Evening Standard.
He isn’t the only famous face rumoured to be starring in this year’s line-up, as the competition gets underway in just a few months time.
One of the names includes Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard, 46, after Ranvir Singh, 43, took part last year.
S Club band member and pop sensation Tina Barrett, 44, also seems to be eyeing up a space on the coveted line-up.
The musician said: “I love Strictly and I’d like to do it. I haven’t been asked to, so if anyone at Strictly is reading, please let me go on.
“It would be amazing. I am a bit of a Glitterball girl,” she told The Sun.
Strictly Come Dancing is scheduled to return later this year on BBC One.
