What is Karren's connection to football?

While working at Sport Newspapers for David Sullivan, where she became a director at the age of 20, Karren spotted an advert in the Financial Times for the sale of Birmingham City football club.

Karren encountered sexism at the club – in one infamous incident, the first time she got on the team bus, a player apparently said: "I can see your tits from here".

Brady told him: "When I sell you to Crewe, you won't be able to see them from there will you?" and the player was sold immediately.

She is currently Vice-Chairman at West Ham United.
