BBC One crime thriller Strike has returned with its fourth series, Lethal White.
But, what time does it start and what is the book about? Here's everything we know.
What time does Strike: Lethal White start on BBC One tonight?
Strike returned to screens with a fourth series on Sunday August 30, 2020 and another episode will air TONIGHT (August 31) at 9pm on BBC One.
The first two Cormoran Strike books' television adaptation aired on BBC One in the summer of 2017.
The series second season based on the third book aired in February and March 2018.
The fourth book, Lethal White, was published on September 18, 2018 and its adaptation has now hit screens.
How many episodes are there?
Fans should be excited as there are episodes in the Strike: Lethal White series, the longest series in the Strike franchise so far.
Production got underway back in September 2019, meaning that the shoot was able to escape a delay was finished before the COVID-19 pandemic took hold.
Lethal White follows three previous adaptations of the Strike novels shown on BBC One: The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Silkworm and Career of Evil.
What is the show about?
Strike is left very unsettled when Billy, a troubled young man, visits private eye Cormoran Strike's office to ask for his help investigating a crime he thinks he witnessed as a child.
Trying to get to the bottom of Billy's story, Strike and now former assistant Robin, now a partner in the agency, set off on a twisting trail that leads them through the backstreets of London, into a secretive hidden part of Parliament.
Strike is struggling in his personal life as he he can no longer operate under the radar due to his newfound fame.
His relationship with Robin is also not what it used to be and she is now invaluable to him in the business, but their personal relationship is much more complicated than that.
What have the actors said about Strike: Lethal White?
Tom Burke, 39, who plays Strike, commented: "Lethal White is the fourth book. It picks up pretty much where Career Of Evil left off, some months on. It’s an interesting point in their [Strike and Robin’s] relationship.
"The relationship, Robin and Strike’s, seems to me to be the heart of the show."
Co-star Holliday Grainger, 32, who stars as Robin, agreed: "I think we’re all just rooting for her and Strike, aren’t we? She and Matthew [Robin’s now-husband] have to end. And maybe that’s because she’s growing into the person she’s meant to become, doing the work she was meant to."
