Popo, three, who lives in Okazaki, Japan, has become a viral sensation after the super-smart dog showed off his best supermodel poses, cleverly copying pictures his owner, Matsuoka, had showed him on her phone.

The Japanese spitz, who has over 16,000 followers on TikTok, can be seen working the camera to put himself in intricate poses, including standing his back legs on the wall and crossing his paws on demand.

Popo, who has been likened to a ‘circus dog’ on Twitter, is cleverly able to copy the movements his owners make with their hands by laying with his head on the floor or spinning around in a circle.

The smart pooch regularly poses in his favourite dog walking spots on Instagram and his seen wearing brightly-coloured bow ties on his collar.

However, fans of Popo are wanting to teach their dogs the same tricks – so their owners are offering ‘counselling’ classes of how you can ‘discipline’ your pooch.

Posting about the classes, his owners said: ‘Online counselling has started!

‘[Our classes are for] Those who are having trouble disciplining their dogs and those who want to improve their level.’

The popular classes are one-to-one sessions with Matsuoka, who works as a dog trainer, offering those that are having trouble with their pets to ‘investigate the cause’ and discipline them out of bad habits.

The bright white pooch is also seen on his Instagram visiting his favourite food spots and even posing with dog treats lined up on his nose, showing how extremely disciplined he is.
