Eighth man who 'lured teen girl, 16, to house and gang-raped her after getting her drunk' turns himself in

AN EIGHTH man who "lured a 16-year-old girl to a house and gang-raped her after getting her drunk" turned himself in on Tuesday.

Carlos Vasquez faces charges of assault with intent to commit sexual assault and conspiracy in Rhode Island, the Providence Journal reported.

Cops told the outlet that the suspects lured the teenager to a house party in December and gave her alcohol and weed before sexually assaulting her.

A video was then posted to Facebook showing the incident, police told the outlet.

Detectives were able to identify the criminals over the course of a months-long investigation.

Vasquez joins an extra seven suspects who have previously been arrested and charged in the case.

Cops had a warrant out for his arrest after Keith Erving Colon, 24, Jose Vargas, 18, Carlos Chacon, 19, Malcolm Baptista, 18, Luis A Cabrera, 18, and Luis Luna, 19, were booked.

Police dubbed the incident one of the most heinous crimes in recent memory, according to the Journal.
