A 21-YEAR-OLD mum was killed in a horror crash on her way to McDonald's with her boyfriend.
Sophie Murphy was today remembered as a "beautiful, kind, gentle" mum after she was fatally injured at Brighouse, Calderdale, West Yorkshire on Saturday.
The mother had been in the Vauxhall Corsa with her partner Sam Sheard when they crashed with a Mercedes C180 travelling in the opposite direction, towards the town.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, Sophie died from her injuries – with her one-year-old daughter now to be brought up by her grandmother.
The little girl Emilia, who celebrated her first birthday in June, was being looked after by her gran while Sophie went to play golf with Sam before they made the fateful trip to McDonald's just after 2pm.
Sophie's mum posted a heartbreaking picture of Sophie and Emilia on social media with the message: "My life gone."
Her tribute continued: "There are no words, to describe the news I received yesterday that my beautiful daughter Sophie has been taken from me at the young age of 21.
"My life my heart and my whole world has been torn apart.
"My Sophie, my baby, my first love. All my life I have lived for my children. My heart is now broken.
"I will love you forever and promise from the bottom of my heart I will make you proud and make sure Emilia has the best upbringing.
"You was the best mum, a daughter could ever wish for. Fly high my angel until we meet again xxxxxxxxx."
Other friends and family were also left devastated.
One posted: "God Bless Sophie Murphy. A beautiful, kind, gentle, lovely, young Mum; taken too soon.
"I wish I could turn back time. Rest in Peace xx
